Help us shape the future of Mabuhay House by ensuring qualified leaders take the helm. Contribute to a transparent and fair election process for the Board of Directors by joining our 2023 Ad Hoc Nominations and Elections Committee.

As a committee member, your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing the Election Guidelines.

• Managing the call for nominations, setting the number of positions available, and the nomination deadline.

• Ensuring nominees fulfill the legal requirements and adhere to the Election Guidelines to serve as directors.

• Evaluating nominees based on the Desired Director Attributes and Experience defined by the Board.

• Encouraging qualified board nominees to actively participate in the election process, providing them with essential information.

Non-director members of this Committee must:

• Be age 19 years or over;

• Have at least 5 years experience as a board director in a non-profit organization in Canada

• Have no criminal record;

• Demonstrate high integrity and ethical conduct and standards.
