Mabuhay! You are invited to experience Filipino culture through food, language, and community!
What is Salo-Salo Supper Club?
Each session centers around a simple Filipino meal and a language theme, offering participants the chance to practice speaking in an informal, peer-led environment.
Activities include guided conversations, vocabulary building, and cultural games, all grounded in the everyday language of family, identity, and belonging.
The program is part of a broader effort to nurture a connection to Filipino heritage among second-generation youth and newcomers. It affirms that language learning doesn’t have to happen in a classroom, it can happen around the dinner table, over laughter, lumpia, and lived experience.
Come hungry for more than just a meal, come for the stories, the laughter, and the kwentuhan!
