This documentary is viewed through the raw and personal perspective of group therapy. Canadian Adobo sheds light on the emotional challenges faced by Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families as they strive to reconnect amidst the trials of immigration and the unexpected difficulties of re-establishing bonds with their children, who are also navigating their new lives in Canada.
We warmly welcome the Filipino community and the general public to come and support this impactful film that aims to witness and share these experiences.
We're thankful for the support of our amazing community partners β Anakbayan BC, Gabriela BC, Kathara, Mabuhay House, Migrante BC, and NPC3 β who share our passion for using film to showcase the unique stories of the Filipino/a/x diaspora.
