🇵🇭 From Celebration to Solidarity: Pinoy Festival’s Indignation and Benefit Night

Pinoy Festival Salamat Gala has always been about giving gratitude to our volunteer, leaders, and organizations, celebrating their tireless service, recognizing their achievements, and honoring their dedication to the community.

But today, as our kababayans in the Philippines face the devastation of recent typhoons, compounded by massive corruption that robs them of dignity and much-needed service. We cannot simply celebrate. We must respond.

What was once planned as a Gala of Gratitude now transforms into an Indignation and Benefit Night. A night where we not only honor our leaders here, but also stand in solidarity with those suffering back home. A night where our voices rise against injustice, and where our compassion turns into action.

Let us recognize the best of our community while refusing to stay silent about the struggles of our kababayans. Let this night be both a recognition of honor and a declaration of conscience.

We celebrate. We protest. We help.
